This interview is with Chad Reynolds, who was 42 when we conducted this interview. He lost his father when he was thirteen years old.
We met in Columbus, Ohio on a humid, Sunday, summer afternoon. I learned a lot from Chad and how he understood his father's mental illness. Our conversation inspired me to visit my father's grave in Kansas, which I was trying to avoid.
