Joseph, the chosen son, was betrayed by his brothers for 20 shekels, just like Jesus was betrayed for 30 pieces of silver. As we continue to read the story of Joseph, we see how he reminds us of Jesus, and in this passage we see ourselves reflected in Joseph's brothers.
