Description

Join the #TLP crew as they discuss the brewing aftermath of the shooting deaths of Philando Castile and Alton Sterling by police and the devastating impact reverberating through black communities as a result.

John L and Scott talk about race relations in the United States - both past and present - while trying to make sense of the tension that has manifested and how we could possibly begin to heal these wounds opened anew.

Violence can never be the answer and real solutions need to be discussed. Coming together as people and engaging in real dialogue centered around mutual respect is the only way to begin healing - not war.

Dedicated to the memories of:

Philando Castile

Alton Sterling

Laquan McDonald

Tamir Rice

Eric Garner

Trayvon Martin

Walter Scott

Freddie Gray

Sandra Bland

Michael Brown

And to those men and women who lost their lives or suffered unjustly as the result of Police brutality.

We at #TLP recognize, encourage support of, and will always respect the bravery and service of those law enforcement officials and public servants that protect and serve with integrity, and without prejudice.

PEACE ALWAYS
