As Adam said to Adaman,
In you there is otherness,
In others there is you
In this world there are those
that would destroy you
and those that would destroy them
There is no God, only money
There is no love, only sexual attraction
Sex, Sex, Sex
Is this all that life is?
Why is there so much death?
We all live in a material world.
So much of life is devoted to material things:
jobs, relationships, children,
relationships, health, religion,
politics and more
But at the same time
there's something missing in all of that--
the presence of God.
Where is God in all of this?
We're not dealing with God,
but with the stuff of life.
People are involved in every part of life--
religion, politics, friendships, economics and more
We're getting to know a lot about a lot of stuff,
but we're not getting to know God--
or if we are, it's only in small pieces
and for a brief moment.
