Learning How to Love - Part 38
"Spiritual Calligraphy"
With Rabbi Ari Sollish
(Recorded live in Atlanta on August 16, 2020)
Calligraphy is writing as art. An instrument is used to create beautiful lettering, with the final result conveying much more than merely the sum of its characters.
There is a form of spiritual calligraphy as well. Spiritual calligraphy refers to the precise, artistic flow of the Hebrew letters -- which, as Kabbalah teaches us, constitute the very code of creation. The shape of the Hebrew letters reflect their individual power and creative modality.
Think of the Hebrew letters as art = design = engineering.
In this session of Kabbalah & Coffee we explore the artistry and design of the Hebrew letters. We see how each letter represents a specific power that flows through the cosmos and into our soul. And we discover the personal message of spiritual calligraphy.
