In a realm before ours there was chaos -- "Tohu." There was a frenetic energy that carried through all the sefirot, causing them to clash and collide. In Kabbalistic terminology, the light was too great for the vessels. And so the vessels shattered.
We live in the next realm, the realm of repair -- "Tikun." Here, the light is diminished, and the vessels remain whole. Here, the sefirot can work together in harmony. But there are still vestiges of chaos all around us...
In this session of Kabbalah & Coffee we explore the realms of Tohu and Tikun and discover the powerful roots of disunity and hate. Most importantly, we'll begin learning how to repair the damage.
