The mystics refer to this world as alma deshikra -- the world of falsehood. Not that there isn't truth in our world; there certainly is. But none of us can escape the lies of this plane of existence.
In a sense, our very perception of reality is the first big lie. The fact that we perceive ourselves as fully autonomous beings, the fact that we don't immediately sense our Divine Source, is the first untruth upon which all others are built. The first Big Truth that we must learn, then, is about the true nature of reality -- the true nature of life itself.
In this action-packed session of Kabbalah & Coffee, we explore truth, lies, and the marvelous stories we tell ourselves. We will take a deep look inside the origins of deception and learn practical guidance to help align ourselves with truth. Because, as Kabbalah teaches, without truth there can be no life.
