Description

From the soundscape to 'Anatol' (dir. Bram Jansen / wr. Arthur Schnitzler) at Theater Oberhausen. The play is a psychological look at the love life of the fin-de-siecle womanizer Anatol, who struggles through a range of relationships. The uncertainties and almost adolescent behavior of Anatol is contrasted by the more mature and observant views of his best friend Max.

For this production director Bram Jansen researched the concept of the main characters Anatol and Max being two sides of the same person. This culminates in a scene where Anatol and Max dance a duet, each from one side of a transparent mirror. This track was the underscore to that wordless scene.
