Cheers Triple S listeners and thanks for the loyalty over this last 5 years of music, it's a labor of love. Got the fifth volume of the String Series for you this week. 'SPACEGIRL 2001' was actually inspired by a recent session by D:RC and the video from a Spacegirl show here in Roanoke, VA back in '01 that was recently posted by a popular talent, Fly Dragon, from back in the day. The video showed some footage of our crew back then that I thought I'd never see. A moment in time that we cherish in our minds and never thought we'd see again. Many of us are still close friends, We're like family still. Bonded by the music, the troubles and struggles that came with the scene and the circumstances that drew us all together. If you're from the old school you know exactly what I speak of. Big up to homie D:RC and to Fly Dragon for making the video available and taking the time to post.
'Spacegirl 2001' is a cinematic style session, if you know my style you know it's my preferred vibe...Anyways, starts off simple, light rollers progressing into some spacey vibes, soulful vocals, some amen heavy drumwork and liquid followed by high energy rollers and jungle, a new vibe from me and fun to lay down, finishing off with an interlude and the classic reworked Circles from Adam F. Really enjoyed this one, hope you do as well. As always, thanks for taking the time to listen as well as your support.
