Baxie talks to bass player Prescott Niles from The Knack! In 1979, The Knack not only had the #1 song in America with the classic "My Sharona"--it was the fastest single to reach gold for Capitol Records in 15 years (behind "I Want to Hold Your Hand" by The Beatles). Prescott talks about the band, their quick success, and about the pressures that led to the band breaking up in 1982. Prescott, who now plays for Missing Persons, shares a bunch of incredible stories about his long career. He even talks about The Knack and their previously unreleased live album which comes out in stores this month! You can hear the interview on Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud, Spotify, and on the Rock102 website.
