A little known artist in the US, Shadu has made big waves for herself in Ukraine over the past few years and she's not slowing down for anything despite the trying times in her nation. She makes her debut on the US electronic music scene with her nostalgic 80's synth-pop, breakup song "Apologize" that speaks volumes to the all too familiar days on the dating circuit. Written from the perspective of the protagonist in her story, it shows they are fed up with the lies and deception of their former partner and the apology provided seems hollow and insincere. Energetic, dancey drum patterns and an iconic synthesized melody overlayed with extremely memorable vocals by Shadu herself, you really can't get more authentic to the synth heavy new wave culture of the 80's.
