Before rest comes redemption. Jubilee—redeeming people and possessions every seventh and fiftieth year—looked forward to the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. For us today, rest and rescue happen simultaneously—Christ redeems us and we rest in Him. God redeems us from something to something. What is your redemption story?
