The church fulfills its role in God’s redemptive mission in the world when we remember we’re a people not a place, a movement, not an institution. The church has a unique opportunity to demonstrate to the world the power of the Gospel to heal and reconcile, and all of this starts with being a community of people led by and dependent on the Holy Spirit.
