A cortege of academics gathered recently in Trinity Long Room Hub to discuss evolving ideas of fond farewells, among them was archaeologist, Ellen Finn, whose studies look at how the dead were dealt with in bronze age Crete, but whose interests include the disposal of mortal remains into the future.
