Today we catch up on a talk from our 2018 series: an insiders look at Auckland Museum’s Te Awe project. Associate curator Bethany Matai Edmunds explains the Project which has a mission to enhance the accessibility of the museum’s vast collection of taonga whilst recognising its rightful place within Te Ao Maori.
Bethany is joined by conservator Kate Blair who explains the workflow and conservation methodology the museum is employing to bring this to fruition.
