Description

"Protest Vibe" (by Marco Antonio da Costa) -- recorded in December 2013 on the KUG Studio by Ulrich Katzenberger and Alexander Zwierzina , Mixed and Mastered by Georg Luksch. Graphic Design by Andreas Ischka, Graz - Austria. Line up: Guitar -- Marco Antonio da Costa, Organ -- Rob Bargad, Drums -- Matheus Jardim. Released at the Album "The Shift" in 2015.

This tune was composed in a time where a wave of protests has arisen in the world. Started with the so called "Arab Spring" in 2011. Some of these protests seemed for me very legitimate, like the ones in Egypt, Tunisia, Canada (Montreal), Brazil, Turkey and America "Occupy Wall Street" but some of them really looked for me like western mainstream media fabrications with an unclear agenda behind the poor and often bad coverage.

Protests keep happening all around the world, that's what this song is about, the endless "Protest Vibe"
