Realm of Bass Mind Expansion Series March 28th 2020 Hailing back to the days of Dubstep when I ran the radio program called Psycabin...the idea was the combination of psychedelics with a remote location in the woods..a cabin. Yeah it was eclectic, bizarre, sometimes a little trite and repetitive but when it worked, I thought it was pretty amazing. It was especially made for radio play. I always liked the womp and wobble of LFO synthesis that provides the main sound of the genre. That was also a combination of hip hop and reggae, both heartbeats in musical percussion. The sounds were simple, basic and not overly produced. Nowadays we have Hybrid which is Trap with a Dubstep wobble and I was stoked about the synergy. Dubstep is now allot more complicated and sounds way better than in the past. Still, ROB is mainly a Trap Electronica Dance Music show and there is no turning the clock back at this point. This is a sick, wompy mix including elements of Pop, Hip hop and Trap.
