French record label based in Rennes, Vives, run by electronic DJ/producer and Organisme Texture resident, Weever, is going to release on June 15, 2021, the new EP, titled « Des Rêves », by Rennes-based artist and co-owner of Nocturnal Frequencies imprint, MIMMO (one half of N/F/0 @nf0_music with Blurred Boy, and one-third of Depht Mod @depht_mod).
A cinematic, shadowy and sentimental introspective journey, relentlessly propelled by hypnotic skipping rhythmic patterns and swishing clanging swells, smeared by slow melancholic synth spirals of dreamlike breath, to build an emotional crescendo with an enveloping and at times decadently romantic flair, whilst tinkling and dazzling resonant chords, full of restless mystery and helpless pain, reverberate and resonate dramatically over the gloomy dense haze that surrounds haunted disintegrating male vocals wavering in and out of a painfilled disconnected existence, amid ghastly, inaudible whispers and nightmarish memories, inescapably cloaked in a dark and daunting fatal dance of death.
MIMMO's "Des Rêves" EP is due out, Cassette & Digital, from June 15, 2021, through Vives label Bandcamp.
