In February I began the deep dive into the modular set up. Each day was a revelation. Creative flow continuous even in the gloom of winter here and menacing world event. On one day alone I recorded what I entitled Impressions of Africa, the title taken from Raymond Roussel, who wrote about an imaginary Africa without ever having left his cruise-ship. My impresssions of Africa are perhaps different, no less imaginary, but based on a 40 years background of listening to African music, I use my sound for mental travelling.
