As time goes on and with so many people have been lost in the disaster, I am forced back to my own notebooks where I jot down names and events registered by others in the course of my research. That it might go untold that there were many women scientists and students killed in the genocide as well as artists and journalist seems evident and yet there is another realm of memory open to us who hear the voice of the waters.
