Short length documentary explores methods of creative interaction with unique industrial city environment by means of street-art and digital technology. "Signals" is a series of experiments with light, inspired by soviet industrial heritage and russian futurism utopia. It is a synthesis of spray paint, LED lights and projections, driven by echoing techno chords. Synesthetic currents transformation is induced by high energy steel production through collaboration with the techno project "Toki Fuko" (Foucault currents).
Manufacturing is a centre of monotonous city life. Freight trains and automobiles transport productive forces (ger. Produktivkräfte) in the slowdown techno loop. Faded, dusty industrial сity colors diсtates choice of gray paint. Primitive geometric shapes gain the color at nightfall. The movement is created by switching drawing elements and color schemes animation.
