On December 7, 2021 the Brattleboro Select Board voted to accept a proposal from the Civil War Monument Committee to establish a new interpretive plaque at the Civil War Soldiers’ Monument on the Brattleboro Common. This is a project that members of the historical society and students from BAMS have been working on for six years. We are pleased with the progress.
