I speak with my friend Jake, who is currently a sheriff deputy for Clackamas County, but in this episode we talk about his career in the Army and his experiences deploying overseas. In later episodes I’ll have him on to talk about some of the experiences he has had as a sheriff deputy but I wanted to talk with him about what it was like going into the Army, what he gained from it, and who the Army, or any other military branch, might be a good path for.
