Mogano is the moniker of the Italian born and Berlin based electronic music producer Marco Berardi. His sonic approach is developed around re-processing traditional musical instruments into cinematic soundscapes and gritty polyrhythmic drums textures. Exploring techno, ambient, experimental and bass music spectrum both as Dj and Live performer, his music has been hosted at Contort, Flussi Media Art Festival, Tresor, ATOM Festival, OHM, Saturnalia Macao, Krake Festival, Freqs Of Nature, Spektrum - Art Science Community, RoBOt Festival and released on label such as Liber Null, Arboretum, 901Editions, Saidan and Voidance.
Since 2013 he is also curator and co-owner of Arboretum, an electronic music imprint founded with the visual artist Andrea Familari/FAX.
