Steve "Simmo" Simmons has been the voice of Maitland band Mischling for the last 20 years as well as spending time with national heavy hitters Henry's Anger and Cryogenic, schizoid metallers Cigars For The Man and his current project Whatever.
We spoke about his personal background, getting started with Mischling in the Maitland scene in the early 2000's, playing at venues like the old Hunter on Hunter in Newcastle and the Queens Arms at Maitland, as well as the opportunities that got away.
