Description

In this episode we discuss the science and the science fiction behind two movies that come from different ends of the scientific spectrum - Blade Runner 2049, set in an imagined future, which asks questions about the nature of humanity and empathy, and Breathe, set in the real life past of the 1950s, which also explores the nature of humanity and empathy in the treatment of patients with long term disabilities, through the inspiring story of polio sufferer Robin Cavendish and his wife Diana.
