We explore the themes of family, memory, legacy and the power of music in the popular animation Coco, which tells a cultural story about Diá de Muertos: the Day of the Dead, through the eyes of Miguel, a 12 year old Mexican boy. Celebrated from 31 October to 2 November by Mexicans around the world, the holiday sees families and friends gathering to pray for and honour those that have passed.
