On Saturday August 12th, 2023 Mary Smith of Tacoma Washington was hit by a stray bullet outside of her home while talking to a neighbor. Here she tells her story about the struggle with parking and parking fees in the neighborhood that brought her out onto the street a little before 1 am that night. She also discusses her recovery, her current and historical experience in the city and her perspective on youth alienation, capitalism and crime. This is an important story and important perspective.
