In this Special Interview I speak with Marjaan Sirdar about investigative journalism of Target, Minneapolis Police and the Downtown 100 program that was used to police the lines of race and class in downtown Minneapolis. In multiple pieces Sirdar has provided ongoing coverage of this public-private partnership used to criminalize mostly homeless youth in Downtown Minneapolis. And this program has already been set up in other cities using Minneapolis as a model for criminalizing poor people.
