In this special we speak with Jason. Jason self-identifies as a redneck and has been a communist for 25 years. He has founded a number of local chapters of leftist organizations primarily in Alabama; such as the Socialist Party USA (SPUSA: https://www.socialistpartyusa.net/) and Communist Party USA (CPUSA: https://www.cpusa.org/) chapters, the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW: https://www.iww.org/), Workers Power - League for the 5th International (https://arbeiterinnenstandpunkt.net/), and Socialist Alternative (https://www.socialistalternative.org/) (a note: some of these organizations no longer exist in the same form due to splits/reformation etc but links are provided to current sites).
