[BIRDFEED EXCLUSIVE] Hot Pot debuts on the Feed with “Phonk About”!
-How long have you been creating music?
I’ve been dabbling in production for over a decade but have only been taking it seriously for the last 5 years.
-What do you use to make your tracks?
I use Ableton for a DAW and suffer from an analog synth addiction, some of which includes my Moog Sub37, Arturia Polybrute, and my Elektron Rytm MK2.
-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?
I attended the second Holy Ship in 2013. My friend brought me to the Dirtybird Disco on ship and I was brainwashed instantly. I actually got off that ship and said, “I want to be a house producer now.”
-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most?
Either Nikki Nair or E.R.N.E.S.T.O on a breaks track.
-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?
Multiverse of Munchies
-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
Festival: The first Dirtybird Campout
Concert: Claude’s Boat Cruise in Boston this summer was one for the ages.
-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?
1/19/18 when Steve Darko and I went b2b before Justin Martin. Some cute girl fed me cheese out of her pocket after the club and now we’re married (Me and cheese girl, not Steve Darko).
-What species of bird best describes you and why?
Shoebill Stork. Google image search it, you won’t be disappointed.
-What does Dirtybird mean to you?
Dirtybird is a community of free spirited fun. It’s shaped the last 9 years of my life more than I would have ever thought.
