We discuss their annual Festival of Trees...
Our fourth annual festival of trees will again be held at the old Masonic armory at 415 Congress St next to the Portland City Hall on the two weekends – Friday through Sunday – following Thanksgiving. That is November 29-December 1 and December 6-8 --- the Craft Fair will not be open on Friday, December 6th. The craft fair will be on the lower level of the historic building that festival goers will be able to tour.
Not only will the 34 trees in this year’s festival be beautifully decorated, but they are being raffled off to their guests who will win the trees, their decorations AND all the gifts on and under the trees. Our highest valued tree last year was worth $3,000, with many others in the $1,500 - $2,000 range. In addition, there are other raffles like the LL Bean gift card raffle with a top prize of $1,000. We will also have a Craft Fair with 30 vendors of Maine made products and a bake sale.
