Description

Rebecca Grover from the Maine Turnpike Authority reported that crews were called out after midnight, and speeds were lowered to 45 mph around 4 AM due to light to moderate snowfall. By 3:30 AM, crews had started plowing. Joe Lundberg from AccuWeather noted that the storm began between 3 and 4 AM, with 1-3 inches of snow expected, possibly up to 5 inches in interior areas. The storm will transition to sleet and rain, with another storm expected over the weekend, potentially bringing over a foot of snow in the mountains. Another storm is forecasted for next Thursday to Friday.
