Ben Hodgson brings the third message of the series, 'Back to Basics', on 'Why Should I Share My Faith?' The first part of this message is based on Luke 17:11-19, which describes how Jesus healed ten lepers, but only one responded by praising God. Ben challenges us to see whether our familiarity, feelings or fear are getting in the way of us remembering what God has done and telling others about it. Building on this, Ben looks at why the Gospel is TOO GOOD not to share and the difference between who we were before salvation and who we are now. Ultimately, there are two ways we can respond to the knowledge of who Jesus was and what He did for us. We can be like the thief on Jesus' right at the cross, and recognise Him, or we can be like the thief on Jesus' left, and reject Him. Finally, Ben asks us to respond to the salvation offered through Jesus Christ, with an opportunity to accept forgiveness for our sins.
