Beginning with the question, “what does freedom look like?”, Paul Jukes speaks on the topic of breaking chains. He uses what freedom looks like to illustrate Jesus dying on the cross and setting us free from our sins. Paul also explores the fact that God is free to be bound, meaning He is faithful and inseparable from His word. Colossians 1:13 shows us how Christ has set us free from darkness and Philippians 2:7 shows us the character of God, humbling Himself in human form, giving up His privilege of being the mighty God that He is. Our circumstances do not stop God’s infinite power and love for us. The blood of the lamb makes us righteous and redeemed with God, the Father. It’s through Jesus that we get to the father and we have that free will. it’s our choice what we decide to do with that God-given power. God chooses with whom and who he gives “His mercy and compassion to” - Exodus 33:19.
