Continuing our Sabbath series, Paul Jukes looks at the account in Luke 8 in which Jesus heals a woman who had been physically ill for 12 years. Her illness meant that she was unable to come out in society. If she touched anyone they would be made 'unclean' and would have to self-isolate. Sound familiar? In order to find rest, this woman had to grab hold of Jesus' garment but also grab hold of Jesus' promises in spite of her fears and circumstances and trust Him.
