Paul Jukes brings the second message of the series, ‘Back to basics’ on ‘Hearing from God,’ Based on Romans 10:17, faith comes from hearing the message of Jesus Christ and then we act on the message that we hear. We do not receive faith through seeing. The bible displays old and new communication and we often look to the Old Testament for the most attractive and inspiring ways of hearing from God; however, God has made a better way to speak to us through Jesus His son, the hope of this world! You cannot go backwards when you have encountered Jesus, and this comes through having a sincere heart. We have a supernatural connection to God in heaven through our faith in Jesus Christ so we can learn to sing God’s song, understand what God is trying to teach us and learn discipleship. God has a song of joy and will meet us where we are at to heal us. We grow in wisdom in seeing what fits for our season and this comes through practical application.
