Paul Jukes continues the ‘I Am’ series, sharing about ‘The light of the world’ (John 8:12). Jesus said that he was not just the light of Jerusalem, but the light of the world, and desired to provide for us all spiritually. The bible mentions light from the beginning as the source of life, and the light of Jesus is weaved throughout the Bible to demonstrate the power and love of God. Jesus’ light is there to help us, and God is our everlasting light, even when we feel like we have no strength to face what we are facing. God revealed himself throughout the bible in Jesus Christ and creation. Jesus demonstrated His authority through light that is the source of life to us all. The evidence of having Jesus in our lives is love for others like Jesus loved us.
