Paul Jukes sets the focus and themes for Vision Sunday before the start of our Prayer and Fasting next week. The focus for the year being, ‘Rally: Coming Together and Sending Out’. Paul highlights the difficulty the world has faced within the pandemic and how now we must reflect, rehabilitate, and refocus. He uses Matthew 7:7-12 and Mark 6:30-31 to showcase that by focusing on the goodness of God, being intentional regarding our heart’s actions and words, and seeking God for the newness of growth, we will be rejoicing in the good news He has brought us. This message addresses the fact that ‘life may get weary’ and our spirits may have been challenged; however, if we are persistent in the things of God, in seeking positive change, and are committed to taking practical steps to improve ourselves, we already have the victory in Christ Jesus. Moreover, a humble cry out to the Father acknowledging His love and how much we need Him takes us further than we can imagine in our growth.
