We can so often be asleep to the things of God and yet Jesus wants to move us all from apathy to resurrection power. In John 11, Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead but he didn't do it straight away. So often, we desire relief over restoration. We want relief from the immediate whereas Jesus wants to restore us. Just like, Jesus called Lazarus to "come out", he also calls us to be alert, awake and to come out of our grave!
