In the final message of 'The Promises of God’ series, Sara Jukes brings a message on 'waiting'. Lamentations 3:25-26 says, "it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord." Without hope, we can miss the beauty of life whilst waiting and if we're not careful, our hopelessness can be contagious! Sara's message asks the question, 'how do we inspire hope?' Firstly, we can do acts of kindness and discipline our thinking so that we don't exaggerate or generalise. We must learn to accept God’s answers and remind ourselves that God promises us a hope and a future. This message also challenges us to have positive role models in our lives and asks the question, 'who is in the waiting room with you?' Waiting on God is different than waiting alone; It gives waiting a purpose. Believe that you will encounter God in your waiting.
