On Pentecost Sunday and Jubilee Sunday, Sara Jukes brought a message on the significance of jubilee, based on Leviticus 25:8-13. During the Year of Jubilee, every slave was set free, debt cancelled. It was an economic, environmental and cultural reset that occurred every 50 years and signified a release for all of those who were in bondage, debt, and slavery. When we reach out to Jesus, He provides a reset, freedom, and restoration. Everyone is important to God no matter who they are, and He is all about restoration. The Holy Spirit is for everyone, and God wants us to rest and trust that he will provide everything that we need. Our debts have been paid in full and He has broken every chain and has released us all from bondage, shame, and unworthiness.
