To conclude our series titled 'LIFT' in which we have re-visited our vision focus for 2020, Tim Davies preached a superb messaged titled 'Lift a Banner.' Focusing on Psalm 60 - a Psalm for a time for uncertainty - Tim drew comparisons with the battle referenced here and the battle that Moses and the Israelites faced against the Amalekites as well as the battles that we face today. In Psalm 60:4 it says, "You have raised a banner for those who fear you - a rallying point in the face of attack." Tim concludes by talking about Jesus - the Man on a Hill - who was lifted up on the cross for us; much like a banner for us to look to and rally to in time of trouble. In the words of Tim himself, "Choose to allow God to lift a banner in your life and rally to it."
