The Lost Island (for large orchestra)
Midi Sample: NotePerformer VST

Music Composed by Danial Ariffin Azman

SYNOPSIS:
The Lost Island is based on music of the Javanese culture and reflecting the diversity of the island which situated in Java. It is an established thematic Javanese’s gamelan Pelog scale which I wrote for this composition to imagine myself being in a disoriented and adrift isle where there is an exciting adventure that awaits.

I started off with grand opening fanfare to create that majestic and magnificent looks at the outer part of the island where greens are covered with sands along by the beach with clear blue water. However, its surrounding changes once I entered the into the unknown and lost island where everything was just mysterious and strange, without any sense of direction; being bewildered in the middle of the unknown island. This is where the story begins…
