Maas is as busy as ever right now despite having been involved in the scene for decades. His own Rockets & Ponies label continues to set the techno agenda and he himself has served up some essential singles with the likes of James Teej and Aiden Lavelle, as well as putting out a big Moby remix on Record Store Day.
Of course, he is also closely associated with DC10 in Ibiza as one of the key Circoloco residents, is a veteran of many definitive albums and releases on top labels like Joris Voorn’s Rejected and My Favourite Robot.
