Every Blessing comes with an instruction; therefore your inability to obey instructions will only lead to scarcity of blessings and every incomplete obedience will produce incomplete blessings.
The expository on the story of Jesus & the Ten Lepers was really enlightening!
It was pointed out that the only leper that came back to thank Jesus was a Samaritan- the only foreigner amongst the ten. Perhaps, while the other nine being Jewish saw the miracle as an entitlement, the other one saw it as a complete act of mercy.. He felt he was undeserving and therefore, he was very grateful.
Many Christians are like the other nine, we take the blessings and goodness of God for granted. We grumble and complain about what God hasn't done, while neglecting the ones He has done.
Jesus expected all ten of them to come back with gratitude; this says to us that God expects gratitude for every generosity He extends towards us.
When you say 'Thank you' to God, mean it! Don't say 'Thank you' when what you really mean is 'What You did wasn't enough, I want more!'
Gratitude makes your miracle complete. It rejuvenates your soul and thus, your health. It improves your sense of optimism and wipes away apprehension from your heart. Gratitude grants us access to the presence of God
