If God rescued us once, HE WOULD DO IT AGAIN! He will rescue us as many times as we need rescuing. This is God's promise that won't fail!
However, We need to stop relying on ourselves and human-made systems (which have failed) and LEARN to rely on God. That is The Way Out.
This is a time for us to turn back to God, begin to worship Him and learn to trust Him totally without holding back.
