Donev comes from a Russian city Arkhangelsk, known by the legend of Archangel Michael, who slew the devil on the brink of the White Sea. What you’ll hear in our 20th release is the sound of Donev; nature, travel and music are undoubtedly a big part of his life and with that spirit, he made Vatra Game EP. It’s full of layered ethnic sounds in a neat combination of drums, vocals and dreamy melodies. Lightweight, organic, slow are the words that first come into our minds when trying to describe it. The sound of spring. But as always with words, they only get in the way of a direct experience. And we’ll only do an injustice if we try hard to draw the picture with words. The last track pushes that idea even further and it embodies a message from the board of Voyager 2. A spaceship mission which was sent in 1977 to study our outer planets.. Now it's very far from the Earth. In between vast spaciness and firm grounds..
