Belgian born Maximilien Vincent known as Placid One debuts on Soundhitectues with three breakbeat tracks. Despite his youth Maximilien introduces a mature and playful combination of beats, synths and atmosphere that holds its theme across the whole EP. B4 You is full of long dreamy pads, keys and unobtrusive bass lines. It sounds analog, warm, slightly distant, but driving, energetic and subtle with signature placid dynamics. It’s the unusual combination that will take away the tension from any dance floor that is in need for a refreshment from the standard 4x4 direction.
