University of Nowhere represents the crossing point between 2 musicians and friends. They met for the first time during the summer of 2011, behind the decks on the seaside and their love for music and art made them inseparable! Naturally & in perfect harmony "University of Nowhere" was born - the creative collective of Dockoff & Mimo!
Dockoff is mixing and producing for more than 8 years now and his style went through deep, dark-progressive sounds and evolved to deep-tech, dub techno and micro house at the moment! During this period Dockoff had a number of appearances on the electronic scene in Bulgaria. Furthermore his sets are on the air of several online radio stations were he expresses himself best with his own original music.
Mimo has gained his experience as a DJ through the years in a number of clubs in Bulgaria. He also had the chance to play in front of the crowds in the Mecca of electronic music - London. His style is enriched over time by rock and pop disco, throughout electro and funk, but his favorite deep-tech and minimal sound is his distinctive feature!
After releasing on labels like Act Natural, Little Helpers, Alboratory, Sonnet, Thatzright Music, PerceptionDub, they come and join the Tupiar Family with a compleate EP consisting 5 orignial tracks. All with their unique taste and feel with that Bulgarian touch, mixed with vocals & piano accents send us different vibes in each track.
